Rover’s Pinky was created by singer, songwriter, surfer, skater, artist, musician, and business professional Al Herion in his garage in Sun Valley in the early 1990’s with his good friends and song writing partners Jory Gonzales. Since that time the band has shown a style similar to none with roots in surf, punk, metal, swing rockabilly, jazz, and country all mixed with dark undertones. The band has received serious accolades throughout its tumultuous life. Al wrote many of the songs for his bands: Rover’s Pinky, the Hell Surfers, and his other projects while he worked with the National Association of Songwriters in Hollywood until they relocated to Nashville. Fronted and directed since the beginning by Al Herion and blessed by many talented different musicians, Rover’s Pinky has enjoyed playing with many great bands at excellent venues in the Los Angeles Area, Al’s unique vocals and stage persona make this band a great live experience!
